New approaches to ensuring the quality of higher education

About the programme

The core idea of the programme is that, for the first time, methodological foundations will be developed for defining “next-generation” qualification requirements, along with recommendations for improving external and internal quality assurance mechanisms and infrastructure in higher education. The programme also provides recommendations for improving legislation in the field of higher education quality assurance, introduces new approaches to ensuring quality and enhancing the effectiveness of research activities, and establishes an automated information and analytical system for ranking academic journals.

Programme aim

The Programme aims to develop new approaches, mechanisms, and a comprehensive scientific-methodological and information framework for the higher education quality assurance system in Kazakhstan through the introduction of digital technologies and methods for assessing the institutional, human-resource, and resource capacity of higher education institutions.
